RIA SOEMARDJO is a vocalist of distinctive style and ability who draws on a deep respect for Javanese musical tradition, with a recently released solo Cd ' Sift'.
GLEN KNIEBEISS (tabla) and CHRIS SPRAGUE (mandocello, oud and bass sitar) have received have received critical acclaim for their Cd ' Resonance' and their mesmerising duo performances. Their musical explorations draw on Arabic and classical Indian traditions, jazz and minimalism.

Ria’s striking voice lifts passengers and carries them away. Chris has the strings of the oud rumbling and writhing. Joined by the drone and shrills of even more strings, the tram is enchanted. Makes one wonder of the potential sound from all the taught strings that wrap this cities skyline in its web of tramways overhead wiring.
